The Corvallis Knights are Corvallis’ championship-winning West Coast League collegiate summer baseball team. Corvallis Farmers Market. 1st St. & Jackson Ave., Corvallis. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The Corvallis Farmers Market happens Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 9am to 1pm, April through November, on First Street between Jackson Avenue and Monroe Avenue, in downtown Corvallis, Oregon. The Farmers Market offers fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy and more, all sourced locally from Benton County and the counties immediately surrounding Benton County. The Corvallis Farmers Market is following all recommended procedures for keeping customers and vendors safe through the pandemic. Fiechter House Open House. William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge, 26208 Finley Refuge Rd., Corvallis. 10 a.m. Free. That beautiful old house along Finley Refuge Rd. usually has its doors locked, but not this summer. Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can stop by the Fiechter House, take a tour and walk through history.  An experienced interpreter will be there to greet you and share some incredible stories about the house and the families that lived there. Did you know 13 kids were raised in the house?  And that one of them wrote their name in a window pane that is still visible today? Little Listeners Story Time at the Monroe Community Library. Monroe Community Library, 645 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 10:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. Free. This event takes place at the Monroe Community Library, 380 N 5th St, in Monroe, OR. Children of all ages are welcome to drop by with their parent or caregiver for stories and songs. Concert in the Park. Central Park, 650 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 7:30 p.m. Free. The Corvallis Community Band resumes its summer tradition of Concerts in the Park beginning Tuesday, June 21 and then weekly through the end of August. Concerts will start at 7:30 p.m. this year. These free concerts are themed and offer a variety of music suitable for enjoyment of the entire family. Bring a low backed chair or blanket to sit on and dress for the weather.
